I’ve picked out 5 books that will improve your life drastically by helping point out those things and guide you in the right direction. Whether it’s finally learning how to track your fertility, how to tidy the right way once and for all, or what foods to eat to ward off specific diseases: reading just one of these books this year will change your life for the better. They are all books that you will keep and read over and over, because they are just that valuable.

Before I read Taking Charge Of Your Fertility I had no idea that you could predict down to the day when your period would start, why you felt so good for the first two weeks of your cycle, or that you were only fertile for a small window of about 5 days every cycle. I also thought that “cycles” went by the months, when really they’re not connected at all. Most importantly, this book unlocks knowledge to your own fertility so that you can ditch the pill if you want to! Why isn’t this book taught in school to every girl on earth? Yet another female societal mystery that doesn’t make the least bit of sense.

2. The Life-Changing Magic Of Tidying Up

Marie Kondo is a tidying guru that makes the act of getting rid of things and tidying your house seem much less intimidating, and instead makes it somehow exciting. You will be so eager to start getting rid of things before you even get halfway through the book. She claims that if done correctly, you only need to tidy once. How exciting is that? Your life will be transformed after you finish this book. Mine was!

The book talks about how Western culture has transformed from a culture of character to a culture of personality in which an “extrovert ideal” dominates and introversion is viewed as inferior. This book outlines the advantages and disadvantages of introversion and extroversion. It is an invaluable knowledge-base if you care to better understand how each individual ticks.
