About

Hi! I’m Olivia.

I know that adapting to a plant-based lifestyle can be a bit overwhelming when first starting out, but I’m here to help make things simpler for you.

Whether you’re suffering from illness or disease, wanting to lose weight, seeking more energy, gaining compassion for animals, or simply want to become healthier – I understand. You’re ready for a change.

I’ve been there.

I created Moon Kale as a space where I could collect and share my favorite plant-based recipes. At the same time, I wanted to be able to share things I’ve researched and learned over the years regarding health, wellness, healing, and becoming intuitive with the female body through holistic means.

Like so many of us, my life was turned upside down due to conventional medicine and an unhealthy lifestyle. I started taking birth control pills for my skin, in hopes that it would clear up my severe acne – which it did. But at the cost of a huge list of miserable side effects. After years on the birth control roller coaster, I was finally fed up and decided to quit the pill.

Soon after quitting, I suffered an adrenal crash and severe hormonal imbalance. My symptoms included but weren’t limited to:

  • severe fatigue 24/7
  • depression
  • weight gain
  • acne on face, neck, chest, & back
  • severely dry/itchy skin
  • hives/rashes
  • aching joints
  • eyesight problems
  • dental problems
  • severe edema
  • bone loss
  • insomnia
  • gallstones

It was the worst 2 years of my life, truly. A sad, lonely, journey that I don’t wish upon my worst enemies. However, one thing that kept me going through all of it was the determination to get better so that I could help other people who were going through similar things. To be a light of hope, support, and knowledge to those who desperately need it.

After years of research, trial and error, and completely changing my lifestyle, I am feeling better than I have in a long time.

I don’t believe in our medical system. Conventional doctors are not taught to help your body heal from the underlying cause, they are taught to treat symptoms with medicine, which often keeps you feeling sick or gives you a host of new symptoms.

I believe in being intuitive with our bodies. Letting plant food be medicine, living a radiant & healthy lifestyle, and addressing our health as a whole. Using herbs and supplements to help support and heal ailments holistically.

I am here for you. Let me help you discover the amazing benefits of living an intuitive, plant-based, holistic lifestyle.
